A full-day ritual of release and renewal, held on the autumn equinox to support you in crossing the final threshold into the new season.

The Threshold is a day retreat that serves as a ritual of release and renewal. Held on the autumn equinox, which marks the beginning of the astrological new year, it is designed as an embodied crossing into the new season.
This experience has been created for the intentional woman who has felt the initiation and in-between-ness of these last few weeks. The one who can sense she is standing on the edge and is no longer willing to carry the same old stories and identities into her next chapter. Who is ready to release and realign on a subconscious level so she can consciously create what comes next.
It is a day of not only deep soul-nourishment but tranceformation. Together, we will complete the whole circle from harvest and reflection to shedding and release to planting seeds and activation.

The Threshold is for all women* who resonate with this journey — this includes cisgender women and transgender women, as well as non-binary or genderqueer people who would like to explore their feminine qualities.
Please know it is not my intention to add more division and exclusivity to the world by specifically inviting women to join this offering.
The reason I am specifically speaking to women*, is that this journey is facilitated from a feminine lens. We will be addressing themes and conditioning that show up for many women* and those who have been socialised as women.
If this resonates, you are so welcome in this space.

Only if you want to!
At the beginning and end of this journey, we will have women’s-circle-style sharing rounds, where you will be invited to share your experience, reflections, and insights — but this is always optional. There is never any pressure to share, only an invitation.
Please also know that these sharing rounds will only make up a small portion of our time together. While we want to give everyone space to be seen and heard, there will not be enough time to dive into detailed personal stories.

Yes, there absolutely will be some nourishment provided for you!
There will be cacao for our opening ceremony and more for you to enjoy throughout if you like.
We will also provide grazing-style platters with nutritious foods during our lunch break, with options for various dietary requirements.
Please just know that this is not a fully catered event (meaning we will not be serving full, cooked meals). Should you find that you are craving a cooked, hearty meal, we do have an excellent cafe right opposite our studio space.

I will send out an email a day or two before the day retreat with a list of things to bring!
But to give you an idea:
It can be nice to bring your own yoga mat if that is your safe space, or any other props you value as part of your self-care time.
We will have a range of props (blankets, bolsters, eye pillows) provided to keep you comfy throughout the day. That said, you’re of course welcome to bring your own if you like.
Additionally, you might like to bring:
your favourite mug for the cacao
your water bottle to stay hydrated
your journal and a pen

Hypnosis, as practised during this journey, is a transformative modality for healing and personal growth.
It is a mindfulness tool that helps us shift from our normal waking consciousness into a trance state. In this state of deep relaxation, our bodies can rest and restore, while we can move beyond our conscious mind and tap into the realm of the subconscious. This allows us to change our internal blueprint in positive ways and rewire the way we think and feel.
Hypnosis journeys go beyond moments of blissful relaxation — they hold the potential to initiate lasting transformation for us.

I totally get this concern! But you don’t have to worry about not being able to experience hypnosis — because “getting hypnotised” is not actually how it works.
Trance is something we experience all the time in our daily life, not just when we do a hypnotherapy session or hypnosis journey. For example: You experience trance states when you are daydreaming, when you get really absorbed in a book or movie, and in the moments just before you fall asleep.
That means: The question is not whether or not you can experience a (hypnotic) trance. It’s just about finding out what hypnotic techniques work best for you to access that state.
In Mindset Magic, we will work with a variety of different techniques, and you might find that some work better for you than others. You will probably also notice that it gets easier to sink into a trance state with every session, as this is all about exploration and practice!

I know there are (sadly!) far too many myths and misconceptions surrounding hypnosis, so let me shed some light on this:
Yes, you are absolutely conscious and aware during hypnosis.
This is your practice, your process, and you are in control the whole time.
It’s really important to me that you have all the information you need to feel safe and fully enjoy this practice, so let me share a little bit more with you:
What happens when we work with hypnosis is that we shift into a different brainwave state. This is called a trance.
Trance states are completely natural states of being that we experience every day — for example, when we are deeply immersed in a book, movie, or daydream. They are nothing scary or foreign, you actually experience them all the time!
The difference is: With hypnotherapy, we purposefully utilise this trance state to create positive change. We’re working with different therapeutic techniques to reprogramme your subconscious.
As a hypnotherapist, I am here to show you ways of accessing this deeply relaxing trance state easily and to guide you through therapeutic processes.
I am simply offering you guidance — and you can choose to follow it or not. It’s always your choice.
There’s no brainwashing or mind control involved, don’t worry.

Hypnosis is a very gentle, very safe technique.
As trance is a natural state of being that we move in and out of every day, there is very little risk associated with intentionally going into a trance.
As such, negative physical reactions to hypnosis are very rare, and usually only happen when you come back out of trance too quickly. This is sometimes called a hypnosis hangover and can manifest in symptoms such as dizziness, nausea, a headache, or generally feeling a little spacey.
There are, however, situations where hypnosis is contra-indicated and might not be suitable for you.
Working with hypnosis may not be recommended if you are navigating certain health conditions, such as:
heart issues
life-threatening diseases
epilepsy
psychiatric disorders
severe mental health issues
diabetes
asthma
Please check in with yourself and, if you are uncertain, your trusted health practitioner. Your safety and wellbeing are always the priority.
